‘Nannavanu’ at last!

Not able to get the right theatres for release, director Srinivasa Raju’s ‘Nannavanu’ starring young sensations of Kannada cinema Prajwal Devaraj and Aindrita Ray is hitting the screens this week finally. At least four times in the recent past the date of release of ‘Nannavanu’ had to be deferred due to lack of side theatres for it.

This film is produced by Thulasi Gopal’s Markwell Organization and has music by maestro Ilayaraja who has composed some lovely music. Director Srinivasaraju (he had earlier directed Sangathi) besides writing the story he has written the screenplay for the film. ‘Nannavanu’ is shot in exotic locations. The film has dialogues from specialist M.S.Ramesh. Thriller Manju has lent the expertise in stunts department and nation’s pride Suresh Urs has done the editing. Dr Nagendra Prasad has written the songs for this film.

Abhinaya Sharadhe Jayanthi, Avinash, Kishori Ballal, Satyaprakash, Doddanna, Komal, Bank Janardhan, Kashi, Mandip Roy, Gym Ravi, Vishwanath, Harish, Master Rakesh are in the cast.

‘Khadak’ is another release of this week in limited theatres. The Omkar Cine Creations ‘Khadak’ is about a youth caught in the activities which he did not want to. How he surfaces clean is the climax of the film. A Devaraj has produced the film directed by GK Mudduraj. Chandrakanth has scored the music. Jitesh, Padmavathi, Jai Jagdish, Om Prakash Rao, Maruthi, Lamboo Nagesh, Jayalakshmi and others are in the cast.
